This cell processing lab provides over 800 square feet (40’x20’) of ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanroom space. The client is a clinical-stage cell therapeutics company. Working with postpartum human placenta, their goal is to augment immunity by using a patient’s own immune system to combat disease.

Included in the GMP Grade B compliant layout are 3 antechambers, or gowning rooms, complete HVAC and air handling systems, flush windows, 1 material passthrough, 2 cart passthroughs, and a seamless pharma-grade vinyl floor. Multiple pass-throughs are necessary for the proper cGMP handling of human tissues in the research and therapy process.
